Once, when I with my wife and children attended an Indian Pow-Wow, we saw a tiny little boy go up to one of the gigantic drums during a break and flail away at it. What other word than "cute" would suffice. I was struck by the sheer size of the drum next to him. Many people think the drum is too large, but remember: there are often 4 to six very large Indians sitting in squat position around a single drum. This was a great opportunity to make him, not as he was dressed at the Pow-Wow, but as he would have been in his village many years ago.
